Although we were a bit disappointed we missed the Lava flowing by 14 days we still had a fun time walking on the old lava remains from the previous flow. “The experience was AMAZING!!! The pilot was very informative and kind. Showed us all a many times the active volcano which was of course our highlight of the experience. The only downside I can say is when we went to the meetup location the door was locked and no one was inside the building for over 30min. We went to other locations looking around for help and eventually we found a kind gentleman to let us sit in another part of the building until the reception lady came back.
