“Our tour guide was funny, full of facts and fictional information about the lights and even provided shots and hot choc with cookies! We were lucky enough to see the lights, they were absolutely incredible, even once we’d left the original site our driver pulled over quickly because they became stronger for a short time! Our guide took plenty of photos of us all and really helped capture the amazing experience! Nothing bad about this trip, it’s just VERY VERY cold so wrap up warmer than you think you’ll need to!”

“Spent almost 11 hrs with our guide, Adam…loved every second! The vehicle was comfortable and clean, Adam was knowledgeable and entertaining, and the sights speak for themselves in the photos. We didn’t manage to see the Northern Lights (can’t control nature!), but boy did Adam try for us! Highly recommend this tour for couples, solo travelers or a small group/family. Max 6 people in the vehicle. We travelled as a couple and had a lovely family (mum, dad, 14yr old) as companions on the tour.”

“This is the perfect day trip. The pickup worked perfectly, the driver was friendly, informative and safe. All the stops were great and although thr gullfoss stop could have been 10 minutes longer, in general the timing was perfect. The snowmobiling was exceptional & definitely worth the added expense. Amazing to snowmobile on the edge of the glacier and the trip up was amazing, our guide/ driver Sven was fab- great driving in the conditions and so informative. For us the golden circle was equally as amazing however just be aware the stops at these points are very short to enable time for the snowmobiling. I would recommend having breakfast/ bringing snacks so no time is wasted. Need warm clothing for the snowmobile however you do get provided with a snowsuit, gloves, neck scarf and helmet which is great. Defo recommend as it is so different to anything we have done and…”

“We had the best time - we saw everything we expected and more! The jeep was comfortable and our driver was an expert in off road - it was an amazing experience. Timing of each stop was done to perfection so we got the best views of the glacier while the westher was good and we missed the crowds. Would highly recommend!”

“It didn’t stop raining all day. By the end of the hike we were soaked from head to toe (even though we had waterproof gear). With that said, tel the trip was amazing! The ride in and out was fun, exciting with great photo stops along the way. The destination was a wonderland of lava fields with tons of obsidian to view. The tour owner/operator Adam, was a pleasure to talk to and a wealth of information on Iceland. We was extremely patient and concentrated on making our visit memorable. On the way back we stopped for a bathroom break, food (soup) and two amazing waterfalls. Can’t recommend this tour…”

“This tour is a hidden gem! Our guide, Toby, was fantastic! His storytelling and overall knowledge of the Volcano and lava, along with his past experiences was entertaining, hilarious, and educational. Toby really made the tour that much more fun! I highly recommend doing this tour!”

“The views were amazing the bus a little overheated on the way out and then a little cooler on the way back. The only problem is that you have to drive to get to Gulfoss and then you are on a big bus so quite a lot of time in a vehicle. But very glad to have done it, I would have liked to do the quad biking”
