“Takes a broad stroke approach to Icelandic cuisine- we tried baked goods, fish dishes, famous hot dog, fermented fish ( not bad, worth trying), lamb stew and finally the rye bread ice cream- all in amazing restaurants with classic ambiance. Leni was a great guide who answered all our questions and lead us to try new things with a good touch of humor. He included all of us in the conversation about Iceland and was very friendly.”

“This is the only tour of the 6 we have done that we don't recommend. We had already been to most of the establishments, we wouldn't call a small piece of dried haddock part of a sweet tour, there were more interesting items on the menus which were not part of the tasting, probably because the tour was trying to keep costs down, and it was not good value for money. We recommend just going to the cafes yourself without a tour.”

It was also a chance to see his new location in the harbor area of Reykjavik.
