“We had a great time at the thermal spa and really enjoyed the experience. We went for a 4pm slot so managed to drive there in the light. The staff were really helpful and all of the facilities were well maintained. The pools were not too busy with lots of variety and places to both sit and stand/float. Drinks are priced similarly to bars and pubs in the Reykjavík area. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights as it got darker which made wonderful scenery even better.”

A flute of champagne with your boo, some humus, and then the iron man of therapeutic springs: down to the glacier fed waters of the fjord, back to the first spring: plunge, run, relax, repeat. One of the best things about Hvammsvik is the natural beauty. This hasn't been turned into a water park or Disney wannabe. We loved it…”

“This tour was great! You get picked up in a huge truck and drive about an hour to the first stop which is a bathroom break at a huge gift shop. In another 20-ish minutes you’re at the stop to put on your gear. Everything is provided except boots. You will be walking on an icy glacier so non slip is what you want to wear. You snowmobile for an hour with a break at the halfway point. If you have carpel tunnel or can’t push a lawn mower uphill, I don’t recommend. When you finish snowmobiling you return your gear and ride for about 30 minutes to the Secret…”
