“Our activity got canceled, but it was very easy tog et rescheduled. We were very glad we did! Our driver was amazing and was able to navigate the F roads with ease in the bus. Our guide was also fantastic making sure everyone stayed on the trail, giving us information about the area, and making sure we finished the joke with plenty of time for the hot springs without rushing us. Landmannalaugar is a very underrated area in Iceland, and I cannot recommend it enough!”

“It didn’t stop raining all day. By the end of the hike we were soaked from head to toe (even though we had waterproof gear). With that said, tel the trip was amazing! The ride in and out was fun, exciting with great photo stops along the way. The destination was a wonderland of lava fields with tons of obsidian to view. The tour owner/operator Adam, was a pleasure to talk to and a wealth of information on Iceland. We was extremely patient and concentrated on making our visit memorable. On the way back we stopped for a bathroom break, food (soup) and two amazing waterfalls. Can’t recommend this tour…”

“Our guide was great and a skilled driver. However, the trip got off to a rocky start because we had to wait an extra 45 minutes for our bus. The bus wasn’t available and someone called out sick, so there was no driver and an alternate had to be called in. Once we got on the road, it was nice.”

“Booked at the last minute and so happy I did. This turned out to be one of the best tours of my trip. Significantly fewer people in this valley due to lack of paved (and dry!) roads. The guide, Nikolaus, was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. He even took us to a black sand beach to see an old shipwreck, and a great view of the Westman Islands.”

“This is a really beautiful part of the country. The path to the campsite and the trail is like a lunar landscape, so best if one takes this tour. It’s a winding dirt road and one has to go over streams, so let the experts deal with that. Once at the base camp, there are toilets and showers. Our guide, Carmen, was fantastic.
