“This tour was great! You get picked up in a huge truck and drive about an hour to the first stop which is a bathroom break at a huge gift shop. In another 20-ish minutes you’re at the stop to put on your gear. Everything is provided except boots. You will be walking on an icy glacier so non slip is what you want to wear. You snowmobile for an hour with a break at the halfway point. If you have carpel tunnel or can’t push a lawn mower uphill, I don’t recommend. When you finish snowmobiling you return your gear and ride for about 30 minutes to the Secret…”

All the stops were great and although thr gullfoss stop could have been 10 minutes longer, in general the timing was perfect. The snowmobiling was exceptional & definitely worth the added expense. Amazing to snowmobile on the edge of the glacier and the trip up was amazing, our guide/ driver Sven was fab- great driving in the conditions and so informative. For us the golden circle was equally as amazing however just be aware the stops at these points are very short to enable time for the snowmobiling. I would recommend having breakfast/ bringing snacks so no time is wasted.
